When your marketing department explores the creation of a podcast for online marketing, there are a few important choices to make. MultiMediaMakers can be your primary point of entry to discuss the concept, the production and the distribution of your podcast.

Web Video

A video podcast is often just a synonym for web video. For more information on web videos in general, we refer to our other pages and articles, as well as our portfolio. From January 2012 on, we now offer dedicated solutions for video and audio podcasts, from consultancy and production right through to the actual broadcasting - podcasting of your files.

A podcast in it's narrow definition is a video or audio file, offered in a series, aimed to be watched on an iPod or a similar device. When we produced our first podcasts back in 2005, they would be watched mainly on iPods. Add iPhones, iPads, AppleTV devices connected to HD TV sets to that list, and of course all the non-Apple mp3 and mp4 players, and you've got a whole range of potential screens you can reach with your message.

Podcast Production

For the production of your video podcast, we use video journalists and an affordable yet high quality HD workflow. Your video is ready for the web, delivered as an HD MP4 video podcast file. You can then set up your own podcasting platform, create a feed that pops up in iTunes or on AppleTV, as well as on your website as an RSS feed.

MultiMediaMakers have now built their own podcasting server. From our server, we can stream your podcast editions directly to your audience. The total solution allows you to have the clips hosted on our platform, without involving your own IT department.

Does it have to be video?

It doesn't. Although video is a great tool to show the story of your organisation, regular video podcasts might be too ambitious for your organisation. To have fresh content on your website, to tie in your audience, why not use the power of radio to get them hooked? Audio podcasts allow conversations, in-depth debates or talks, and allow to broadcast an entire presentation or an evening in a 60 minute format. Audio podcasts are easier to produce, light-weight in file size and flexible in production.

We have a few professional radio producers in our team who can create compelling radio documentaries, interviews, debates and other radio formats, including the creation of dedicated tunes and audio elements to make your message stand out through any pair of headphones connected to iPhones, iPads, iPods and other mp3 players.
