MultiMediaMakers is run by 2 professional TV News journalists. Originally from Belgium, now based in Perth, Els Van de Veire and Kris Borgraeve have brought the TV News format (short, compelling videos that convey a message in less than 2 minutes) to the business environment.

Skills and experience

Producing a video in TV News quality takes a combination of skills. You need empathic journalists who can analyse a story and summarise it. You need scriptwriting experience, a professional news workflow, including interviews and voice-overs. Our team has ample experience in all of that.

Kris Borgraeve, Journalist and News Director

Kris Borgraeve is a dedicated news storyteller. He holds a Master’s Degree in Radio and Television and started out in radio, fascinated by live and pre-recorded radio journalism and production techniques. Audio as a vital part of video is still one of his passions.

Kris Borgraeve holds a Master's Degree as a TV journalist, he acquired skills in the newsroom, producing compelling news reports and live-reporting for VTM, RTL-TVI and Sky News. He has over 10 years experience hosting prime time news and information shows. Kris speaks English, French, Spanish, German and Dutch and produces across languages. Over the last 6 years, he co-developed a unique workflow which allows all customers ( not only TV stations) to have TV News quality video on their website.

Els Van de Veire, chief-editor and social media journalist

Els Van de Veire started as a TV News presenter and chief-editor in 1998. Leading a TV morning news crew, she also produced and hosted radio news on Belgian national radio. She now leads MultiMediaMakers’ global activities and is a news reporter and social media expert.

Els has a Bachelor in Communication and became a chief-editor for TV News early in her career. Later on, she combined leading a TV morning news team and coordinating national radio news in Belgium. She refined her skills to tell a story in video all by herself. As an experienced journalist, Els now also masters High Definition filming, editing, web design and journalism applied to social media strategies.

In 2005, she launched MultiMediaMakers Europe, and in 2011, she launched the Perth based Australian office for MultiMediaMakers, producing TV News format videos for companies in Perth and worldwide.
