So what’s hot and sizzling in regards to effective online Video Marketing trends at the start of this new year? Here’s what I picked up from conversations with the team at the start of our new creative year:

What online video marketing trends are worth taking into account?

Get Professional

Yes, it’s still ok to do your own videos and yes we all have HD cameras in iPhones. But with the explosion of online video content you’ll either upgrade your own skills to stand out and make really awesome home made videos. Or you’ll start to realise that if we don’t build our own office, if we don’t assemble our own car, if we don’t fly our own aeroplanes (some of our clients do and I apologise for my generalisation)…why would we make our own videos?

Cheap. Fast. Awesome. Pick any 2

More than ever the cliche applies. Yes we can make cheap fast videos. Quite often we come up with awesomeness within extreme deadlines. More than ever common sense applies to defining your 2015 video budget if you want to reach the audience and stand out.

Design is everything

Most videographers will be able to focus, get the right frame and press the record button. Very few of them will include design and artwork that really supports the visuals and helps telling the story. MultiMediaMakers have chosen to expand their Artwork and Design team in 2015 and we’re ready to produce some Full HD Awesomeness!

Online Training is Big

The fastest growing genre produced by all major video producers around the world is online education and training. Video is mobile, works for you while you sleep, can be sold, shared, protected or included in other training programs…And in a world where we want things to be fast, online and available online video as a training tool is boiling hot this year!

People and Energy still Rule

Most of our clients, if not all, will tell you that video is a co-production. So it does matter who does the job. We thrive on working really hard and working together really well. Energy, empathy and connection are key when we produce one of those gems you can find in our portfolio.
